PebbleCreek Community Church (PCCC) is privileged to welcome Rev. Dr. Keith Hamilton, President of Alaska Christian College (ACC) in Soldotna, Alaska. He has been with Alaska Christian College (ACC) since its inception. This school year, 2025-26, ACC is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Dr. Hamilton will be our Moments for Missions guest speaker on Sunday, June 28 at 9 a.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
The mission of ACC is to empower Alaskan natives through biblical based higher education and Christian formation. Their vision is to prepare students to follow and serve Christ within the church, their communities, and society at large. They give students the opportunity to grow in their walk with Jesus.
ACC is one of the missions PCCC has supported for many years. This unique college provides students from Native cultures in Alaska and throughout the United States with an opportunity to receive an associate degree in Behavioral Health, Christian Ministry, General Studies, or Paraprofessional Education. This degree can prepare students to assist teaching in grades K-8 when they return home or it provides the fundamentals to continue studies at another college. Many ACC students come from small isolated villages far removed from a typical American lifestyle. To assist these students, ACC staff provides both life counseling as well as academic training. PCCC has also committed to an annual scholarship to aid a Native American or Alaskan student adapt from village life to a world unknown to them.
