The Folk Legacy Trio has been hailed as “the living library” of music of the great folk era, delivering songs from the ’50s through ’70s with their signature dynamic vocals and instrumental arrangements. Songs from The Weavers, The Kingston Trio, The Limeliters, Peter Paul & Mary, The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, The Chad Mitchell Trio, Tom Paxton, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver, and many others. Rick Hunter formed Ridin’ The Storm Out in 2017 to celebrate REO Speedwagon’s founding member Gary’s Richrath and his contribution to music history. Rick performed with REO’s Gary for almost 3 years. Their chemistry was evident from their first chords played together. Knowing the original signature vocal harmonies and musical style were key ingredients to reproduce REO’s sound, the quest was a challenge, but achieved after joining forces with two unbelievably multi-talented young musicians, and two other seasoned players, that brought all the pieces together to form “Ridin’ The Storm Out”—Tribute To REO Speedwagon. Ridin’ The Storm Out has a solid 2-hour show they perform with all the true REO live show hits that the real band still plays at their shows. $35 per person (limit of 4 tickets per sale).
