On Saturday, December 3 the PebbleCreek Italian American Club hosted its fifteenth annual Poinsettia Ball in the Tuscany Ballroom. Two-hundred-eighty attendees made this event a huge success. The night started out with appetizers being served in the Chianti Room accompanied by the wonderful performance of tunes by Bart Ventura. Next came a full sit-down dinner that included Caesar and antipasto salads, rosemary rubbed beef tenderloin, olive oil poached prawns, creamy mushroom orzo and balsamic roasted vegetables. The meal ended with a tiramisu ice cream filled cannoli and a tray of homemade cookies baked by club members and delivered to each table. Each table was beautifully decorated with unique floral arrangements by Thompson’s Flower Shop in Goodyear. The rest of the evening was spent dancing to the music of the PebbleRock Band. It was a truly special evening that was enjoyed by all.
