“Thanks to Sherri, we were able to get our new consignment shop point of sale system up and running in a very short time frame,” commented Sue Jackson, Creative Arts Coordinator. “With her ‘all in’ commitment, from the research stage through the implementation and training stage, Sherri gave freely of her time and knowledge to make the transition from the old to the new system happen for Expressions Gallery.”
“This is not the first time she has provided service above and beyond,” Sue continued. “In 2004 we had another failing computer program that we had outgrown and Sherri wrote a program that we used until we moved to the new Creative Arts Center where she helped me research, purchase and implement our first consignment POS system.”
In addition to being a computer whiz, Sherri is a Creative Arts Facilitator and has worked in sales at the Gallery for more than eight years. Sherri is also president of the Arts Club and past chair of the Creative Arts Committee. A member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, Sherri works to promote colored pencils as a fine art medium and teaches beginning and advanced colored pencil classes. Her art has been accepted and won awards in both local and international shows.
Sherri was recognized by the PebbleCreek HOA Board for her outstanding contributions at their October meeting.
