Creating the Gamble Quail mobiles is so much fun no one can make just one!

Sharon Pelikan, our ceramic instructor, introduced a new project for her class. She made several Gamble Quail Mobile examples and when her students saw the results more than half her class decided to do at least one mobile. Well, it was so much fun and so creative each student made a lot more than one because they decided to make them as Christmas gifts for their family and friends. If you are interested in making one yourself, you may come into Ceramics any Thursday or Friday when Sharon teaches and make one. Of course, there are a few steps involved like ordering the greenware, cleaning, firing, painting, glazing your pieces and the best fun of all is stringing it together with the help of our instructor. All of our teachers think out of the box and have something surprising to do. So come on in and visit us. We have Kelli teaching on Monday and Tuesday and Jan every other Saturday.
