Each year at this time, our PebbleCreek Community Church members fill shoe boxes with small gifts for children of all age groups (ages designated) to be shipped to 130 countries around the world. This program is a wonderful opportunity to share the Christmas story of God’s love through His Son Jesus Christ. We welcome others within PebbleCreek who might not be affiliated with our church or another church locally which participates in this activity to join with us. The shoe box activity is sponsored by Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse: www.samaritanspurse.org. Under the leadership of Edna DeFord and her committee, we expect to send in excess of 500 shoe boxes this year. The dedication of shoe boxes will occur during our 9:00 a.m. church service in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom on November 22 after which the filled boxes will be sent to Samaritan’s Purse for global distribution.
