When Beverly Eckes was diagnosed with cancer and needed to take time away from her Eagle’s Nest bridge games and friends, it left a void in the hearts of many. After several months of chemo and radiation were completed it was such a relief to her friends that it seemed a celebration was in order. And so it was—that on October 30 a Welcome Back luncheon hosted by Ellie Daly in her Eagle’s Nest home, seven of Beverly’s closest bridge buddies got together and lovingly welcomed her back. Included in the picture are Ellie Daly, Luanne Jorgensen, Edie Hoechst, Gretchen McDermott, Beverly Eckes, Jo Carley, Anita Asp and Judy Cowan.
