Mike Adkins

The fairways of the Eagles’ Nest Golf Course played host to another stellar morning of competition as the PebbleCreek Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association (PCM9GA) gathered for its regular stroke play event. Set against the stunning backdrop of the White Tank Mountains, the Aug. 6 tournament challenged players on the course’s demanding back nine holes.

A strong turnout of local club members navigated the tricky greens, strategic bunkering, and pristine layout. Thanks to the meticulous planning and organization of pairing coordinator Randy Vlcek, the morning tee times moved forward seamlessly, ensuring an enjoyable and well-paced round for all flights.

Competition was fierce across the board, with tight scorecards highlighting the depth of talent within the association. Recognition went out to the stellar performances across the leaderboard, celebrating the standout players who secured the Top 13 places for the event.

Following the final putt, participants gathered to swap stories about near-misses on the course and celebrate the morning’s camaraderie. The successful tournament further cements the PCM9GA’s reputation for hosting top-tier competitive events that keep members active, engaged, and connected throughout the summer season.
