Lisa Reichert
The PebbleCreek Sewing Club resumed classes on Sept. 16 after taking a summer break. Darlene Helker led the class, teaching members how to make a Bowl Cozy—a handy project that makes removing hot bowls from the microwave safer and easier by protecting your hands from burns.
Another fun class was held on Sept. 30 and led by Donna Aybar. Participants made Burrito Pillowcases. This pillowcase is a simple way to decorate a bed for any season or theme. These pillowcases are extremely popular with the grandchildren from cozy movie nights on the couch to overnights with friends.
