Fifth Time’s a Charm for Marilyn Reynolds

PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) member Marilyn Reynolds made Aug. 1, 2026, a day to remember when she scored the fifth hole-in-one of her golfing career while playing Tuscany Falls West.

And she didn’t choose an easy par 3 to do it!

With water running down the right side of the fairway, the hole was playing 135 yards to a white, middle pin location, tucked a bit toward the back near the bunker. Add a stiff breeze, and this pin is not easy to go for. Marilyn teed up a Titleist Pro V golf ball, pulled out her trusty PXG 7-wood, and struck the shot that every golfer dreams about.

This foursome included her husband, Lyman Gallaup, and friends Susan and Brian Diamond, who had front row seats for the celebration. While Marilyn may be getting rather experienced at getting holes-in-one, the moment was a first for Lyman. Despite Marilyn having five aces to her credit, this was the first one that Lyman actually got to see go into the hole!

The summer heat has certainly been making its presence known at PebbleCreek, but apparently it wasn’t enough to make Marilyn’s golf ball fly heavy into the breeze that day, as her perfect shot was simply unaffected by Mother Nature.

Five holes-in-one is quite an accomplishment, Marilyn! Congratulations on another memorable ace.
