The Creative Arts Center and Expressions Gallery reopens on Monday, Aug. 31, following a 3-week closure for refurbishing. On the 31st and the 1st, volunteers will be taking in lots of new items for display and sale. So, this is the time to hurry in and have a great selection of items to choose from.
The entire Center and Gallery are also open on Labor Day, Sept. 7.
Never sure what to give as a gift for that fussy friend? Try a personalized hand towel with just the right saying. There are many to choose from, and you’ll enjoy perusing the display arranged on a ladder-like fixture.
Now is a great time to take a list of your family and friends with you to the Gallery to make note of the items that would be ideal for each of them. If you are shopping for Hanukkah, it starts on Dec. 4—just 3 months from now!
Gift ideas include a stunning display of jewelry, including some sets of both a bracelet and earrings or a necklace with matching earrings—takes the guesswork out of mixing and matching!
Many fabric items are on display ranging from small purses to large totes. Glassware in a multitude of colors and sizes are available as are interesting pieces of carved wood.
The paintings in the Gallery and on display throughout the Center are imaginative and lifelike in colors for any décor. There are paintings in acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, and oil. Absolutely great one-of-a-kind gifts.
Welcome back!
