Concert: Piano Men: Generations—Sept. 11

Concert: Ghost in the Machine—A Tribute to Sting and The Police—Sept. 12
Ghost in the Machine is the premier Police/Sting tribute band in the country. They faithfully and accurately reproduce the recordings of The Police and Sting as we have heard them countless times on the radio and CDs, using a full complement of top musicians and singers to achieve all the parts on the records. They perform these totally live (no tracks), while at the same time delivering a live concert show that is at once energetic and amazing, leaving the audience screaming for more. Want to hear those Andy Summers solos on Message in a Bottle—done. Want to hear Sting’s amazing bass lines on Wrapped Around My Finger—you will. Looking for those background harmonies on Brand New Day—they’re all there. What about the keyboard parts on Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic? Or the horn lines on Set Them Free—they’re all there LIVE! Want to not only hear all the syncopated Stewart Copeland drum parts, but see them done on one of only 15 kits made to Stewart’s order—you’ll hear and see that. Most importantly, of course you want to hear the voice of Sting singing all his hits from early Police to later solo hits—and you most definitely will hear his voice in GITM’s amazing lead singer. Concert: One of These Nights—Sept. 18
A Flawless Eagles Tribute—Experience the Timeless Sound of the Eagles, Note for Note with the worlds best Eagles Cover Band. One of These Nights is a note for note tribute to the Eagles. Based out of both Chicago and Arizona, One of These Nights has established themselves as one of the top drawing Eagles cover bands in the country. Performing at festivals, casinos, performing arts centers and private and corporate events, audiences marvel at the precision with which One of These Nights performs. They often play a double classic album show performing both Greatest Hits Volume 1 and the Hotel California album from cover to cover.

Cinema Society: Current Members Renewal—Sept. 21 to Oct. 2
Cinema Society is back for the 2026-27 season. Renewing members can sign up beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 21 through Oct. 2 in the Activities Office. The Activities Office is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Membership is $185 per person; paid by Member Charge, preferred, or credit card. Film titles will be distributed upon sign-up. Season dates are: 2026: Nov. 5 (Season Opener). 2027: Jan. 21, Feb. 4 and 25, March 4, April 15 (Season Finale).
New Members: Should space be available, new members can sign up beginning Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. in the Activities Office.

Often, they are small-release, documentary, arthouse or foreign releases. Sometimes, films are seen by our group before they are released to the public. A typical Cinema Society program includes a cinema chat, formal introduction, screening of a feature film premiere, classic, documentary and/or short subject, followed by a discussion. The morning events typically include a guest speaker; a critic or occasionally an actor, director or studio representative involved with the film’s production. Speakers share their expertise with you, providing a forum to discuss various aspects of the movie.
Your membership includes private monthly screenings, transferable membership admission card with PebbleCreek lanyard (pass it on to others if unable to attend an event), socializing with fellow film lovers, informative discussions, monthly newsletter that previews upcoming film and any activities, hosted national and international film festival trips (for an additional fee) and invitations to other special events. All films screen at 9 a.m. sharp in the Renaissance Theater.

Concert: Jeri Sager—Oct. 9
This Broad’sWay. Jeri Sager is a veteran of Broadway and numerous national tours. She made her Broadway debut as Fruma Sarah in the 25th Anniversary Production of “Fiddler on the Roof,” starring Topol. She then went on to star as Grizabella in “Cats,” Eva Peron in “Evita,” and appeared as Fantine in “Les Misérables.” She has worked with such theater notables as Tony/Oscar Award-winning director Jerome Robbins, Tony/Drama Desk Award-winning director Trevor Nunn, and Tony/Drama Desk Award-winning singer/songwriter and playwright Rupert Holmes.
In This Broad’sWay, Jeri re-creates some of her most memorable and critically acclaimed roles. She’ll take you from the streets of New Orleans to the cabarets of Chicago: from the barricades of France to a balcony in Buenos Aires. Travel: Activities Office Travel Expo Event—Oct. 19
The PebbleCreek Activities Office brings you our fourth annual Travel Expo to the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom on Monday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m.– noon. Our travel partner, Free Spirit Vacations, has arranged for several of their staff to be on site to share information during breakout sessions to occur in 30-minute blocks after the main overview presentation being delivered by Free Spirit Owner, Suzanne Hagberg.
Susanne will share opportunities we have planned for various travel destinations around Arizona, the U.S. and around the world for 2027 and 2028. She will also take your questions and recommendations. The breakouts will be broken up into segments in the Ballroom. Check out the event flyer for the breakout topics, along with the time blocks for you to attend all or a few, in any order as each location will repeat the same topic each timeframe. It is FREE to attend, but to ensure it is not too crowded, and that we have ample refreshment, RSVPs are required. Call the Activities Office at 623-535-9854 or stop by to RSVP. Tickets go on sale Sept. 30 at 8 a.m. This is our annual fun and frightful fest where all our goblins, ghosts, and ghouls gather together to do the monster mash all night long! With a DJ spinning all the best dance tunes, this is one ghostly affair you won’t want to miss!

The annual Chic Boutique event is back and will take place in the beautiful Eagle’s Nest Ballroom, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring 3 items of canned or boxed food in lieu of an admission price you also receive a ticket for a chance to win a door prize. Concert: One More Night—Nov. 7
The Phil Collins/Genesis Experience. Since their humble beginnings in 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona, One More Night—The Phil Collins/Genesis Experience has been on an incredible musical journey, and they are very excited to share it with you.
They’ve had the privilege to perform at various venues, including casinos, performing arts theaters, and even some lively festivals. From the West Coast’s California to the East Coast’s New York, from the northern charm of Washington state to the sunny embrace of Florida, and even crossing borders to Canada, the band has been fortunate to take the music of Phil Collins on the road and connect with audiences like you.
One More Night’s performances are a heartfelt homage to the exceptional songs of Phil Collins and Genesis. They bring you hybrid versions that capture the essence of the studio releases along with the magic of live renditions, creating an experience that’s both familiar and fresh.
With immense gratitude, the band welcomes Bill Whittemore who steps into the lead role as Phil Collins. They extremely talented band members, including Charlie Green on drums, David Dion on bass and vocals, David Wagner on guitar and vocals, Bob “Desi” Desiderio on keyboards and vocals, and Shantel Laudel on vocals and percussion, pour their passion into every note they play and sing.

Event: Veteran’s Day Program—Nov. 10
Every year we take time to give thanks and recognition to all of our military personnel who have given so much to secure our freedom. This year, we are celebrating on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 2 pm. Program details will be shared soon. Tickets are $5 cash only for this special program and can be purchased at the Activities Office beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 9 a.m. Tickets available through Nov. 7 or until they sell out. The proceeds will be given to a charitable organization whose focus is on our Veterans. Wear your red, white and blue and come celebrate with us in the Renaissance Theater!
