Moses (now Maximus) was rescued on Nov. 10, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church in Glendale by two young women who took him to Legacy Animal Hospital for help. They had found this poor young kitten under their car in the parking lot. Legacy called us for help. He was taken in by The Pet Companions Club and fostered by Sue Ann Olsavicky.
Moses was a handful from the start! He was quite the wild child. He liked to bite, and he wanted to take charge! We got him his vaccines and neutered him.
He was adopted as a PebbleCreek cat by a resident on Jan. 14, 2026. She was not deterred by this feisty boy, and promptly named him Maximus, which really suits his personality!
Taking in a male cat/kitten/dog/puppy and getting them vaccinated and neutered runs us over $700 per animal. Females are more (about $1,000) due to the spay procedure being more complicated versus the neuter.
Moses is an excellent example of why your tax-deductible donations to our club are vital. We need those donations to pay the veterinarian bills for our rescued cats and dogs.
