There’s still time for community-minded residents to step forward and make a difference by declaring their candidacy in our upcoming PebbleCreek Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors election.
The HOA Election Committee invites interested homeowners to consider serving as a volunteer director. One board position is available, with a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2027. If you’re passionate about helping shape the future of our community, now is the perfect time to get involved and submit your candidacy for this rewarding opportunity.
To qualify, candidates must be homeowners in good standing and available to attend HOA board and committee meetings. A director’s duties and responsibilities are described in Article V Section 2 of PebbleCreek’s CC&Rs, which are posted on the PCHOA website at pebblecreekhoa.org.
Candidates interested in running for the HOA board need to complete the online form found on the Election Committee page under the HOA Board>Committees tab on the PCHOA website: pebblecreekhoa.org. Interested candidates must submit their intent to run no later than 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21. Candidates who prefer completing a paper form can get one from the Eagle’s Nest Resident and Guest Services desk.
After proper vetting, each approved candidate will receive more election details, including deadlines and processes for candidates to submit their own publicity to the monthly PebbleCreek Post and weekly online PebbleNews.
Important dates for candidates are:
* Friday, Aug. 21: Last day to file
* Wednesday, Sept. 2: Candidates briefing with Election Committee
* Friday, Sept. 4: Deadline for photos, bios, campaign statements
* Monday, Sept. 7: Campaigning begins
* Tuesday, Sept. 22: Meet the Candidates Forum, 10 a.m. Eagle’s Nest Ballroom
* Online voting Oct. 3 through Oct. 13, 2:30 p.m.
