The PebbleCreek Singles celebrated the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th at Goodyear Ballpark. The stands were completely filled as well as the grassy ball fields, with many families and children of every age. We were entertained by both patriotic and rock music. We could hardly wait for the sun to go down. There were many food vendors to satisfy everyone’s tastes. The lines were long but worth the wait. The drone show started at 8:45 p.m., and it was spectacular. The colors and the many coordinated formations, some even using spark generators, left everyone in awe. We all wished the show would have gone longer. Many gave great praise by using drones instead of fireworks particularly with the current drought and potential fire hazards. Even while waiting in long lines to leave the ballpark, you could not stop talking about how amazing the drone show was with the many different elements.
