On June 7, our fourth grade girls from Michael Anderson School in Avondale met in Phoenix to hop on the big bus and head to camp. The campers, mixed with both excitement and a bit of apprehension, joined several Camping4Girls members for their send–off to Camp Shadow Rim in Payson. At camp, the girls will have the opportunity to swim, canoe, climb, and make new friends, as well as participate in many other camping activities.
