On April 30, 22 PebbleCreek friends of Randy Hurwitz gathered at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Surprise, Ariz., for an enjoyable lunch and love fest. Randy’s wife of 27 years, Barb, passed away one week prior to our gathering. Because of his huge popularity amongst his pickleball and poker friends (and his love for pizza), it was decided that a lunch event was truly needed.
Servers Emily and Kelli took good care of our group as we enjoyed a variety of delicious salads and pizzas on Lou Malnati’s private outdoor patio. Alan Shapiro provided an excellent tribute speech and we ultimately raised our glasses to toast to our fond friendship with Randy.
A lot of good smiles, stories, and laughs resulted in a very fun, successful afternoon. In fact, this love fest lunch caused a discussion to morph this event into a Take-Randy-to-Las Vegas trip!
