The PebbleCreek Line Dance Club has been going strong on Monday afternoons and Tuesday evenings for a long time. About 10 years ago the lead teacher was moving away from the community and needed someone new to take over, or the club was going to fold.
Shirley Jacobs (in the front row with red shoes) was an excellent student in the class. She was asked if she would consider the prestigious position. Knowing that the club would not exist without an instructor she agreed to do it.
For the past 10 years, Shirley has kept the club growing and thriving with new students and keeping the original ones as well. However she has decided to retire and focus on traveling and spending more time with her family. We have all appreciated the time, preparation, and acquisition of all the music necessary to keep the class going for all these years.
