There was a new twist in the 2026 edition of the Robson Trap Trials. When awards for Women’s Best of Field were handed out there was a three-way tie. Each woman broke 65 out of 75 targets.
The order of trophies was determined by the longest string of hits without a miss. That placed Bonnie Athey and Joan Brown from Quail Creek in first and second place, and Vicki Ray from PebbleCreek in third.
This year’s event was held March 27 at Casa Grande Trap & Skeet and was hosted by Robson Ranch. Robson Ranch won the event this year and will host the 2027 gathering.
