Camping4Girls (dba T.T.T.) got to meet the newly selected 4th grade girls who will camp this summer. We had our annual pizza party at the school to meet with the girls, their families, and their teachers. Later this month we will take the girls shopping to Walmart, where we have lunch and choose all the clothing they’ll need for their camping experience. It’s a fun day for us and them! Then in June they will head to Girl School camp for a week.
We are so lucky to have three new members installed in our chapter. We can’t wait for them to be able to meet the girls, take them shopping, and see them off to camp!
We will be having two fundraisers in May. All you have to do is mention the event at checkout. Flyers will also be posted on the Egroup. The dates are:
* Thursday, May 7 at Culvers, 130 N. Estrella Parkway, available all day
* Thursday, May 21, 3 to 7 p.m.,Yogurtini, 14175 W. Indian School Rd.
Members meet monthly throughout the year in the PC Clubhouse. We also meet with the chosen girls throughout the year, and we keep in touch with the girls who attended camp in the past while they are still at Heritage Elementary.
