State Parties – April 2026

The Colorado Party planning committee created a memorable evening for a sold-out crowd on March 7. The party was a tribute to Colorado’s 150th statehood birthday as well as America’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

PebbleCreek’s Colorado Party honored two great milestones in American historyAmerica’s 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and Colorado’s 150th year of statehood at its sold-out March 7 soiree, one of the community’s most popular annual events.

From the moment guests entered the Tuscany Falls clubhouse, the theme was clear. Patriotic décor filled the Tuscany Falls Ballroom with USA and Colorado flags, fireworks centerpieces, and a festive mix of red, white, blue, and gold balloons. A fireworks-themed photo booth was an ideal backdrop as partygoers captured fun memories throughout the evening.

Attendees were given a commemorative lapel pin depicting the USA and Colorado flags as they checked in. Everyone wore badges listing their Colorado hometowns which made making new friends and reconnecting with old friends easier during the cocktail reception followed by a Western buffet dinner.

The energy in the room went up a few notches when the Rhythm Editions band played a wide medley of dance music. During intermission, 15 “Rocky Mountain” prizes worth more than $2,500 were awarded, including cash, gift cards, experience certificates, and a handmade charcuterie board by a Colorado artist. Tod Pickett was our emcee for all the fun and did his usual wonderful job.

The 2026 committee was chaired by Mary Taylor. She was ably supported by a dedicated team of volunteers. The 2026 committee included Heather Adamscheck, Pam Anderson, Pat Cornett, Nancy Cushing, Suki Fitzgerald, Cari Gallo, Marilyn Jaster, Tracey Littlefield, Jerry Maglio, Rosemary Miller, Cheryl Murphy, Renee Shellhorse, Marilu Trainor, Bonita Vermulen, Ruth Ann Welding, and Diana Woods, and many others who helped on the party day.

Mark your calendar for the next Colorado Party on Feb. 27, 2027. Those interested in volunteering to plan the 2027 event can email pebblecreekcoloradoparty@gmail.com. Committee assignments include decorations, marketing, prizes, registration, and general committee duties.
