The West Valley Curling Club (WVCC) cheered on the U.S. curling team as they struggled through to a crushing finish against their Swiss competitors in the recent Olympic Games in Italy. WVCC members swallowed their disappointment in not having made this year’s Olympic team but redoubled their efforts in practicing for the next winter games in 2030. While their mentor and coach, Wayne ‘The Gov,’ was busy in the far North, they took the initiative to prepare for their Olympic Gold Medal victory four years from now.
