You would think we would get tired of doing these silly little Poker Shoots but when you can win a couple of bucks and get bragging rights … all bets are off!
Do these guys look happy or what!? Left to right are Rollin Neumann, Nick Sharp, and Bob Lukes. Nick took first place again and Rollin and Bob split second. They still won money so, yes, they are happy campers.
Every First Friday of the month our club has a little Poker Shoot with a $3 ante up from the 12 members participating this week. Just so you understand how this is done, we put the faces of the cards facing the board so you only see the backs of the cards. You have no idea what you are shooting at especially if you have a nice friend spin the target a few times before taping it to the board.
At a distance of 10 yards we put 7 shots into the back of the target which is a full but random deck of 52 cards. You get the best 5 shots to determine your hand.
