Cindy Greiner
An Ace Makes Fast Friends at Eagle’s Nest
Amber Rivera
Lightning struck again at Eagle’s Nest during league play on Jan. 16, when PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) member Cindy Greiner recorded a hole-in-one on hole number 12. From 150 yards out, Cindy reached for her trusty 5-wood and sent the ball on its way.
Adding to the surprise, Cindy was playing that day with partners she had just met. No one actually saw the ball drop, but that didn’t matter for long. When the group reached the green and realized the ball was already resting in the cup, the excitement instantly took flight. Strangers moments earlier, they were suddenly bonded by an unforgettable ace.
Congratulations to Cindy on her first hole-in-one … proof that sometimes the best introductions on the course come with a story no one will ever forget!

Harry Gaul
Harry Gaul Makes His First Ace at Tuscany Falls East
On Jan. 11, Harry Gaul made a hole-in-one on the 13th hole on the East Course at Tuscany Falls. This was Harry’s first ace in his 27-year golf career. He made it while playing with his wife, Lo-An, and her six lady golf friends visiting from the East Valley.
The 13th hole was playing 110 yards from the white tees to a front-pin position. His A-wedge landed short of the green but rolled to what seemed to be close to the pin. Everyone searched around the green to find the ball. Eventually, Harry decided to look at the bottom of the cup. Voila!

Jeraldine Rettman
She’s Done It Again…Another Ace for Jeraldine Rettman!
Amber Rivera
Some golfers spend a lifetime chasing a hole-in-one. Jeraldine “J” Rettman seems to find them again and again!
On Jan. 21, Jeraldine recorded her fifth hole-in-one on hole number 4 at Tuscany Falls East. Playing from 128 yards out, she reached for her Ping 425 5-Hybrid and sent a Titleist AVX ball straight toward the target. One confident swing later, the ball found the cup!
Witnesses Lindy Smith and Patty Gilbertson were on hand to share in the excitement, watching Jeraldine’s eagle-eye shot—making a routine Wednesday round into something unforgettable.
Jeraldine’s calm confidence and steady precision continue to set her apart. With an eye for the flag and a swing that delivers, she keeps reminding us that great shots aren’t always loud—but they are always memorable.
Congratulations, Jeraldine, on another incredible ace! The PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) celebrates your skill, consistency, and remarkable ability to see—and hit—the perfect line.

Mike Dinan

Mike Dinan Makes His First Ace Ever During PCMGA Tourney
Howie Tiger
On Jan. 22, Mike Dinan made a hole-in-one on the 13th hole at Tuscany Falls East. This was Mike’s first ever ace in his 40 years playing golf. It was also the first hole-in-one made during a PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association (PCMGA) event in the 2026 golf season. As such, he now qualifies for the PCMGA annual hole-in-one prize.
The 13th hole was playing 128 yards from the white tees to a back-middle pin placement. Mike’s playing partners were Jim Scoular, Russ Shaw, and John Nguyen. As Mike was preparing for his shot, he was first thinking about hitting an 8-iron. But, he decided on a 7-iron as he had been coming up short recently. So, he hits that 7-iron solid with a medium trajectory straight at the flagstick. Jim said, “That looks like that could have gone in!” But no one actually saw the ball go in for sure.
Mike arrived at the green and did not see his ball. So, he checked the area in back of the green and did not see it there either. Russ said, “Hey maybe it’s in the hole!” So Russ proceeds to check the hole. Excitedly, Russ says, “Come look in here, it’s in the hole!” Russ later said, “I always wanted to say that.” Congrats commenced!
Mike’s hole-in-one was worth 6 points in the Quota game format and that surely helped his team take second place in their flight.
Mike was born and raised in Omaha, Neb. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) and earned his degree in Business Administration. He spent his working career in the Industrial Oil & Gas business involving valves, fittings, pipes, etc.
Mike and his wife, Jayne, moved from Highlands Ranch, Colo., to PebbleCreek in 2015.
Congrats on your first ace! Who knows, it could be the first of many to come!
