Michael Vickers
Traci Baker, Director, Community Activities and Communications
This January, HOA Director of Community Services John Singleton officially retired from service to PebbleCreek after 10 years. Late last year, the search began for his replacement.
After interviewing several excellent candidates, one stood head and shoulders above the others, and we are very pleased to announce that Michael Vickers has joined the HOA staff as our new Director of Community Services.
Michael, who goes by Mike, is a retired police officer with 31 years of experience. He started his career with the San Diego Police Department, and his last 11 years were with the Kirkland Police Department in the State of Washington.
Mike has more than 15 years of supervisory experience, along with the experience, knowledge, and expertise that comes with being a long-tenured police officer, making him a great fit for the role here in PebbleCreek.
Mike was born and raised in Ohio, and is a self-professed sports nut … certainly if you ask about his favorite team, one of the first things he’ll say is “Go Buckeyes!”
Mike is a relatively recent transplant to Arizona, having lived here now for three years, which is great, because we don’t have to worry about him making it through his first hot summer, he’s already done that three times.
Mike and his wife have three sons and a daughter. And recently they have become grandparents welcoming a baby granddaughter, a topic that brings a smile and immediately lights up Mike’s eyes. When he’s not working, or watching sports, it’s his granddaughter that has all of his interest and attention.
Mike has shared how excited he is to begin this new role, and wanted everyone to know how much he is looking forward to serving the community and residents of PebbleCreek.
If you haven’t had a chance to say hello to Mike, he looks forward to meeting you, so stop by the Patrol office located in the Activities Complex in Eagle’s Nest.
