Each January, the PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) gathers for one of the most meaningful events of our season—the Cancer Awareness Tournament.
On Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, the Cancer Awareness Tournament will take place on both Tuscany Falls (TF) East and West courses with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. After the round, all players are invited to the TF Ballroom for appetizers and a celebration of our PCLGA cancer survivors. It’s a meaningful way to kick off the new year while supporting a cause that touches so many lives. Registration opens on Dec. 20, and all information will be available on the PCLGA website.
Now in its 26th year, the PCLGA Cancer Awareness Tournament continues to unite our community in reflection, remembrance, and hope. This year’s theme, “Hope is Contagious,” reminds us that even in the face of hardship, optimism and compassion have incredible power. On this special day, we honor the survivors among us, support those who are courageously fighting, and remember those we have lost to this dreadful disease. It’s a day to share stories, laughter, and love—celebrating the strength that binds our PCLGA family together.
A meaningful part of the event is the Pinwheel Garden, located on the lawn near the pro shop. This powerful and colorful display offers a quiet moment of reflection for our members. The heartfelt tribute, beautifully arranged by Pam and Bill Volm, provides an opportunity to remember loved ones and honor those whose lives have been touched by cancer. A long-standing PCLGA tradition, the Pinwheel Garden embodies the spirit of the day—one of unity, hope, and remembrance.
We are honored to welcome Jeanine Patten-Coble, founder and president of Little Pink Houses of Hope, our charity for this year’s event. Little Pink recently celebrated its 15th anniversary of providing joy, healing, and renewal to breast cancer patients and their families through retreats and supportive programs.

A heartfelt thank you to our co-chairs, Ellen Enright and Margaret Dlouhy, and to all our volunteers, whose dedication makes this event possible. Together, we’ll share a day of golf, friendship, and gratitude—all driven by the belief that hope truly is contagious.
