I’m pleased to say that there’s not much to say this month as my first year as club president winds down. I only have a few items on my ‘To Do’ list, both long–term items that—fingers crossed—I can get done. If my fellow members vote me in for a second, and final, term. Two terms would be ideal and would be enough as I feel new blood will keep our club going in the right direction.
I’m pleased to report that the change in reservation systems (due to our initial system going out of business) went seamlessly thanks to the hard work of our Club Secretary Jim Padgitt. Jim researched and found a compatible system and put in the hard work of transferring all of our current info to the new system. Thank you, Jim! I also want to thank Dan Harris for his efforts in lining up matches for our men’s club and now he has the ladies to take care of, as well!
To all of you out there who enjoy this game: Take a good grip, aim true, step into your shot, and stroke it smoothly. But most of all—have fun!
