On Oct. 14, the PebbleCreek Billiards Club (PCBC) faced off against Trilogy’s Billiards Club at the Kiva Club in Vistancia, Peoria, Ariz. Six PCBC players and nine from Trilogy battled it out on three newly-covered 9-foot Brunswick commercial tables, where the fast felt demanded precision and finesse. The event featured three race-to-eight doubles matches, showcasing skill and strategy.
In the opening match of traditional 8-ball, PCBC dominated with a commanding 8-1 victory, setting the tone for the day.
The second match introduced Trilogy’s distinctive “1-15” 8-ball variation, where the 1 and 15 balls are racked beside the 8-ball and must be pocketed in opposite side pockets. Trilogy edged out a 8-6 win.
The final match, traditional 10-ball, was another close battle, with PCBC clinching an 8-5 victory.
Of the 36 games played, PCBC secured 22 wins to Trilogy’s 14. Both clubs enjoyed the friendly rivalry and are eager for a rematch next month.
