The Carver for the month of November 2025 is Mike Homan. Prior to PebbleCreek, Mike lived in Spencer, Iowa, located in the Northwest corner of the state. Mike’s love of golf brought him to Arizona to pursue his hobby and visit a relative in PebbleCreek. How many times has this story played out? Mike and his wife built a house and moved here in 2011. Mike is one of the few who had carved prior to joining the club in February of 2025.
Mike made a horse corral, which will be given to grandchildren along with the horses. In the corral are bales of hay. Mike is maintaining a holiday tradition by hiding cash somewhere in the gifts, which is hidden in the bales of hay.
When asked why it took so long to get into the carving club, Mike responded that he was intimidated by what he saw in the display case. However, after taking the leap, Mike found the club to be very welcoming and helpful. His message is: “Come on in and ask for Mike.”
