On Aug. 20, the PebbleCreek Billiards Club (PCBC) welcomed the Buckeye Legends (BL) back for an 8-ball showdown at PebbleCreek’s Salerno Billiards Room.

The afternoon featured two distinct matches. The first was a one-on-one 8-ball series. Each of PCBC’s four players faced BL’s four players twice, resulting in a 32-game contest. The Buckeye Legends secured the victory, taking 18 games to PCBC’s 14. PCBC’s Lynn Warren performed well, winning five of his eight games, while BL’s Joe Frederico led all with six wins out of eight.

The second match was a ranked head-to-head format, pairing players based on their first-match wins, for five standard 8-ball games. PebbleCreek rallied back and claimed a 13-7 victory. PCBC’s Lynn Warren, Blair Dreyfus, and Rene Lefebvre shone brightly, all winning four of their five games.

Both clubs enjoyed the friendly and competitive atmosphere and are eager for their next match in September.
