A survey of the homeowners who attended the special panel discussion, “Behind the Board: Info and Insights” reveals a high level of satisfaction with the event. “I believe the (survey) results are quite good and, I think, indicate the event was quite successful,” reported Cliff Crooks, Election Committee Chairman.

The event, held July 23, was organized by the PebbleCreek Election Committee to help homeowners learn more about the duties and responsibilities of an HOA board member, discover who makes a great HOA board candidate, and learn why they should consider running for the HOA board. The presentation was recorded and the video is available on the HOA website (under the HOA Board tab>Committees>Election).

More than 93% of survey respondents said they learned something new about the PebbleCreek HOA Board; 80% responded that they learned something new about our HOA operations; 75% indicated that they learned something new about what it takes to be an effective and successful HOA Board Member; and 73% said the information they learned at the event inspired them to consider volunteering for a PebbleCreek HOA committee.

“While just 43% of respondents said the information they learned at the event inspired them to consider running for the PebbleCreek HOA Board,” shared Cliff, “three of the event attendees have declared their candidacy this year, and that, I feel, is outstanding!”
