Enjoying the shopping trip and snacks at Walmart
Ronnie Levine
T.T.T. Chapter Q met with our chosen girls from Heritage Elementary and their families to see them off for four days at Girl Scout Camp Willow Springs in Prescott. On our shopping trip to Walmart, they had fun picking out and trying on their clothes and shoes for the trip. Other camp items such as duffel bags, a camera, towels, and more were purchased separately. The girls were picked up after their fun, though short week at camp, and they were excited to tell us all about it!
Save the date! The Thaddeus Rose Band will again lead the festivities at the Chapter Q dance fundraiser on Oct. 24 in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Tickets will go on sale Sept. 23, 24, and Oct. 3 at the kiosk in Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse.
T.T.T. members meet throughout the year in the PebbleCreek Clubhouse and hold a yearly fundraiser to be able to help the girls chosen by their teachers to go to Girl Scout camp for a week in the summer. We also meet with the girls throughout the year, and we keep in touch with the girls who attended camp in the past while they are still at Heritage.
For over 100 years, the T.T.T.—which stands for Time, Talent, and Treasures—has been dedicated to helping girls attend camp, which we feel is a great place for girls to stretch their abilities, to build self-confidence, and learn to see the wider world.
