Thank You for Supporting the Beverage Tab Collection Project!

With a big smile and an even bigger heart, Andy Gardner helps move mountains—one bag of tabs at a time. His kindness and commitment embody the generous spirit of our PebbleCreek community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who continues to support the beverage tab collection project benefiting the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Whether you’ve dropped off tabs at my front door at 16705 W. Sheridan St., placed them in the container near the golf course, or delivered them directly to Andy Gardner or Keith Constable—every single tab makes a difference.

In 2024, our combined efforts—including contributions from our PebbleCreek community and a group in Minnesota—filled 154 plastic tubs. That totaled 2,706,072 tabs, weighing in at 2,399 pounds. With 1,128 tabs making up a pound, our collection raised nearly $2,000 to help provide wheelchairs and prosthetics for children in need at the Shriners Hospital.

This project continues to grow, and we are on track for an even greater impact in 2025. I’m especially grateful to Andy Gardner, Keith Constable, and Pat Prom for their tireless dedication to this cause I was proud to bring to PebbleCreek and have such a passion for.

Please keep saving your tabs as this is an ongoing project! Donations can be dropped at my home, at the golf course container located between the 9th and 10th hole on the West Golf Coursewest of the Westwind Tavern restaurant by the bathroom/rental cart barn, or given directly to Andy (contact Andy’s mother, Kathy Alto, at 503-708-6421 or Marty Alto at 623-282-8002) or Keith.

With sincere appreciation—thank you, thank you, and thank you!
