The PebbleCreek Irish American Club (PCIAC) held their annual Emerald Ball on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, to the delight of a packed house of Irish enthusiasts. Decked out in their finest “greenery” and the like, attendees were greeted at the entrance by kilt clad members. Guests enjoyed camaraderie and appetizers in the Chianti Room.
The gathering moved to the Tuscany Falls Ballroom for a sit–down dinner where Trudy Chambers, the club’s social director, and volunteers Sandra Hand, Beth Cunningham, Peggy Lemo, Pat Cornett, and Scott and Lea McCormick had placed creative table centerpieces of Irish hats adorned with leprechauns, sunflowers, and shamrocks.
PCIAC President Terry Roth kicked off the evening with an Irish blessing. The Rhythm Edition provided music for dancing and attendees listening pleasure and of course the cash bar was frequented often by the party goers.
Our club is for those who are Irish and those who wish they were. For more information about the PC Irish American Club, please see our website: pcirishaz.org.
