Embracing Our Differences

Embracing Our Differences group

Patricia Wilson

Embracing Our Differences officially launched as a club within PebbleCreek and held its first general meeting in January 2025. Our mission is to foster awareness and harmony within the community by providing a safe space for meaningful discussions on how social, racial, and cultural issuesincluding gender, age, and religionshape our perspectives. Through open dialogue, we aim to deepen our understanding of one another and strengthen our connections as neighbors.

As a social club we engage in various activities, including attending events, visiting museums, sharing cultural meals, watching documentaries and films, and hosting gatherings such as happy hours, dinners, and mixers. While our members come from diverse backgrounds, careers, faiths, and life experiences, we celebrate these differences and recognize the many values and interests we have.

Membership is open to all residents of PebbleCreek and we invite you to join us for an upcoming mixer on April 27 at Sunrise Park from 3 to 7 p.m. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by April 20 and/or if you want to learn more about becoming a member, please contact Jacqueline Blake-Broughton at [email protected] or Patricia Wilson at [email protected].
