The Just Folks Women’s Bible Study is currently exploring Charles Stanley’s book titled “Relying on the Holy Spirit.” Our members enjoyed a very meaningful and thought-provoking session before sharing a hearty meal at the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant on Dec. 5, 2024.

This group has a long history of delving into topical studies aimed at learning more about the word of God while growing in faith. Our very first meeting was held on March 26, 2015, at the home of Emma Mosley, the current Study Group Leader. The original members included Jessie Jones, Patricia Wilson, Phylice Walton, Mildred Callahan, Cynthia Bush, Edrena Alexander, and Sandra Merriweather. Four of the original group are still involved and have been joined by others who share their zeal for the Word.

A celebration luncheon is scheduled each month at various restaurants in the West Valley to extend our time of fellowship. Jean Gwyn organizes and decorates these events with special treats like today’s beautiful and scrumptious cake.

Our goal is to encourage and support one another through life’s surprises, challenges and celebrations while growing in the knowledge of the Lord. Just Folks Women’s Bible Study meets the first Thursday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse, Sienna Room. We look forward to welcoming you to our Family of Christian Fellowship in the New Year!
