Pet of the Month: Meet Daisy

Daisy

Hello Friends!

May I introduce myself? My name is Daisy Ohme. I live with my mom (Wendy Ohme) on the Eagles Nest side of PebbleCreek. I’m a 3-yearold micro labradoodle, red in color. I am not a native Arizonian. I flew in a big white bird from Indiana, attended by a human puppy nanny.

Mom seemed frazzled in the early days. She was fixated on making sure I got outside to go potty, so we went in and out of the house 15-plus times per day. It was so exhausting for me!

As an only child, I take solace in the companionship I find at the PebbleCreek dog park. In addition to running with the other dogs, I enjoy catching and retrieving the flying squirrel my mom throws for me.

Most of the people in our neighborhood know me by name because mom takes me for walks several times each day. I often go to my dog sitter Xan’s house. She has a new puppy, Willow, who I’m teaching the tricks of the trade.

Well, that’s all for now. I hope we’ll meet someday. Until then, I am Daisy, friend to all.
