Travel Expo: Elevated Experiences, Free to Wander Day Trips, Regional Travel & More—Oct. 7

Join us for this great event that will feature Suzanne Hagberg, owner of Free Spirit Vacations, our travel partner. She will lead a brief information share for the entire group at the beginning of the program, with break-outs for specific areas of travel to follow, so arrival at the 9 a.m. start time is requested for all participants. Each break-out will be 30 minutes so attendees can rotate through each station if desired.

The annual Chic Boutique event is back in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring 3 items of canned or boxed food in lieu of an admission price you also receive a ticket for a chance to win a door prize. Bring your friends and neighbors and enjoy shopping the day away for purses, cosmetics, scarves, clothing, jewelry, skin care, wigs, accessories and much more!

Veterans Day Salute—Nov. 8

Every year we take time to give thanks and recognition to all of our military personnel who have given so much to secure our freedom. Program details will be shared soon. Tickets are $5 cash only for this special program and can be purchased at the Activities Office beginning Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m. The proceeds will be given to a charitable organization whose focus is on our Veterans. Wear your red, white, and blue and come celebrate with us in the Renaissance Theater!

Concert: Mick Adams Rolling Stones Tribute—Nov. 24

Named one of the top 10 tribute bands in the world by Backstage Magazine, Mick Adams and The Stones are an authentic recreation of The Rolling Stones, live in concert. Endorsed by former Atlantic Records President, Jerry Greenberg, Ryan Seacrest, and Mark Cuban, this band must be seen to be believed! According to Jerry, “It doesn’t get any closer than this!” Mick Adams and the Stones have been featured twice on National TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, and were the only band chosen by Mark Cuban out of seven seasons of the television show to perform a private concert for Comcast and AXS Television in January. This exciting seven piece, live recreation of The Stones in concert, features look-alike performers, multiple costume changes, full choreography, and an all-new media show.
