The PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) and PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association (PCMGA) Mixer Tournament was held in May where the 18-hole ladies hosted the 18-hole men for a 2-day tournament with a 2-Best Ball format on May 7 at Tuscany Falls East, and a Scramble format on May 9 on Tuscany Falls West.

All players got to pick their partner for the tournament within their respective league and then got put into the mix to form 4-person teams that were changed up the second day. The total purse for the 2-day event was $896.

On May 7 the following foursomes won top billing:

Flight 1: Moe Moran, Susan Slaughter, Helen Wagner, and Todd Young—1st place; Keith Clinton, Kurt Eleam, Ellen Enright, and Kathy Hubert-Wyss—2nd; Kittie Day, Liz Mitchell, David K. Morgan, and Steve Thimjon—3rd.

Flight 2: Art Krudener, Nancy Moore, James Scoular, and Peggy Steffan—1st place; Robert Burghdorf, Leslie Lowery, Jean Ostroga, and Allyn Sayre—2nd; and a tie for 3rd with Lawrence Nathan, Barb Rossi, Cindy Sota, and Mikal Stampke and the team of Kathi Curtis, Scott Giles, Debbie Sayre, and John Zellinger.

Flight 3: Dana Becraft, Larry Burnson, Jayne Dinan, and Garvin Nix—1st place; a tie for 2nd went to Bill Armstrong, Tim Niccum, Becky Rio, and Gail Sarro, and the team of Barb Economou, Joe Jones, Bill Schaffer, and Claudia Tiger.

Flight 4: A tie for 1st place went to the teams of Bill Anderson, Judy Garcia, Norman Munger, and Julie Webb, and Dave Albert, Bev Clinton, Lynn Matousek, and Cliff Truax; with 3rd going to Kurt Goss, Jane Hee, Marion Malnar, and Carolyn Suttles.

In addition to the top billing on Thursday, Gary Ebel scored a hole in one—his first in PebbleCreek, witnessed by his playing partners for the day, Ken Schumacher, Vicki Ray, and Layne Sheridan.

On May 9, the scramble foursome winners on Tuscany Falls West were:

Flight 2: Carolyn Apodaca, Brent Dorman, Polly Elliott, and Cort Wyss—1st place; Scott Giles, Jackie Goupil, Lisa Reichert, and John Zelinger—2nd; Art Krudener, Leslie Lowery, Jean Ostroga, and James Scoular—3rd.

Flight 3: Chris Cook, Bergetta Reese, Pat Fallon, and Mike McGue—1st place; Larry Burnson, Nix Garvin, Denise Johnson, and Darleen Lockhart—2nd; Bill Armstrong, Tim Niccum, Judy Hauser, and Cheryl Skummer—3rd.

Flight 4: Ed Bobigian, Jim Herman, Bev Clinton, and Lynn Matousek—1st place; Judy Garcia, Julie Webb, Kurt Goss, and Marion Malnar—2nd; Kathy Bergman, Sharon Graville, Ed Hagstrom, and Mike Mason—3rd.
