On the first Wednesday of the month, the PebbleCreek Sewing Club (PCSC) tries to have a skills class or charity workshop. On June 5, we spent a few hours cutting fabric for a community service project. The Women’s Giving Circle organization had asked for help cutting donated fabric, which is used to make the bags to hold period products for their annual packing day. We had many hands from both organizations ironing, cutting, and matching fabrics for a future sewing workshop.
The PCSC will take July and August off, but the Diamondback Room is open for drop-in sewing every Wednesday.
