Members and guests of the PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club enjoyed a lovely evening of dinner, dancing, and socializing with an 18-piece big band orchestra on April 27 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The hosts for the evening were Cynthia and Mike Schwartz, who gave us a beautifully decorated ballroom with handmade table linens, vase flowers, a romantic arch for picture taking, the Eiffel Tower, and more. Their co-host, Roberta Diles, brought her own style to the decorations to bring it all together.
The hosts greeted guests before directing them to the cash bar and to enjoy the “butler passed hors d’oeuvres” of stuffed mushrooms and melon and prosciutto. The menu of salmon with dill sauce, and the tender and juicy porter ale beef short ribs were also a big hit. Catering did a wonderful job of providing quality food for the evening.
The Sun City All-Stars Big Band was enjoyed by all, with its vocalists singing the standards of yesteryear of ballroom dance tunes.

Our next dance is a more informal dance on Sept. 20 with the theme of “Dirty Dancing,” honoring the late Patrick Swayze in the hit 1987 movie. You will not want to miss it!
Have a wonderful summer everyone—see you in the fall!
