The featured speaker at the Republican Club’s Nov. 7 Veterans Dinner will be Dr. Connie Mariano.
The Republican Club is pleased to announce its featured speaker, Dr. Connie Mariano, at its Nov. 7 Veterans Dinner at 6 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.
Dr. Mariano served as personal physician to Presidents George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and Obama. Dr. Mariano is the first Filipino American physician to reach the rank of Rear Admiral of the Navy and second woman to become Director of the White House Medical Unit.
In 2001, Dr. Mariano retired from the Navy and joined Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale. She later founded the Center for Executive Medicine in Scottsdale and authored The White House Doctor: My Patients Were Presidents—A Memoir.
This patriotic evening will honor club members and guest veterans who served to preserve our cherished American freedoms. More information will be coming as to the price for the dinner and where to sign up. The deadline for registration will be Oct. 30. Only club members and their guests may attend.
