For the March Photo of the Month, the Camera Club selected an impressive macro photo taken by club vice president Ernie Jackson. Ernie is not only an accomplished photographer, but also loves to experiment with unusual subjects and somewhat exotic post-processing software. For this month’s photo, Ernie chose a seed pod that he cut open to expose the inside. Masking and Topaz Studio were used to highlight the seeds, and the background was added to provide artistic contrast to the pod. The result was a striking high-resolution image that shows great detail inside an object that we probably would never think of as a photographic subject.
