On Oct. 21, the PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) began its 29th season of play with 24 teams spread across three divisions (American, Mid-American and National). PebbleCreek Softball started back in 1995. More on the history of this great league in our next article.

Prior to opening day we saw the Field of Dreams undergo some much-needed improvements as a new outfield fence was installed, as the current fence was 20 years old. In addition, the players’ warm-up area was expanded to include a batting area for all the Babe Ruth wannabes. Additional golf cart parking was also installed due to the increase in players and fans.
