Each month the Camera Club selects a Photo of the Month and, for April, chose an impressive photo taken by club member Steve Kirk, while he and wife Jan were celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on a trip to the former French colony of Tahiti. Many factors contribute to the success of a photograph and his demonstrates how leading lines and “triangles” (the bungalows) can help create a dramatic picture. The bungalows you see are individual guest houses over the water with bedroom, living, and bath areas; the upper deck faces the ocean and the lower deck allows swimming directly to the lagoon. Steve remarked on club membership, “I have enjoyed attending the club meetings as a new member and have learned a great deal.
