Wow, it’s March already and the Tennis Club is buzzing with activities.
Our General Membership Meeting will be happening on March 1 at 5 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Tennis Hut/Sports Complex. Come and hear what’s going on and how you can become a vibrant member of the club. For those who attend, please plan to stay for a social gathering after the meeting with refreshments.
On March 23 we will be holding the Mixed Doubles 2023 Championship Tournament where the best of the best compete against each other. The event is for three levels of players. Afterwards, the participants will be treated to lunch to celebrate the day’s event. More information can be found on the Tennis Club website at pebblecreektennis.org.
The club is always striving to be more than just a tennis club. As part of humanity, we all need to give back to our community. In an effort to help children with physical and medical needs, we will once again collect aluminum pop tabs from cans and from the pull-off tabs on tennis ball canisters. The proceeds from the aluminum we collect will be donated to the Shriners for wheelchairs and/or the Ronald MacDonald House for families needing a place to stay while their child is in the hospital. Please consider saving your pop tops from soda cans, beer cans, or bubbly water cans and depositing them in the receptacle in the Tennis Hut/Sports Complex at Tuscany Falls. There also will be a container to place your aluminum tops from the tennis canister at each tennis court near the trash receptacle.
