The PebbleCreek Democratic Club Social Committee promises to help you keep your calendars full in 2023. As the song goes “it was wonderful” for 24 members who met for dinner at Famous Dave’s prior to attending the Drifter’s concert at the Vista Center for the Arts in Surprise on Jan. 14. It was a great walk down memory lane listening to the Drifters’ favorite songs such as “Save the Last Dance for Me,” “Under the Boardwalk,” and “Kissing in the Back Row.”
On Jan. 16, 56 women attended the Martin Luther King Jr. Ladies Brunch in the Chianti Room. Our main speaker was Phylice Walton, president of Just Folks. Phylice’s speech was a great tribute to the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Kudos to the PebbleCreek catering staff who provided excellent service.
