PCM9GA March Madness

The Niners had a busy March, starting off by giving back to the local community with a donation to Kare Bears. They followed up their community spirit with their two-day club championship. The tournament was very competitive, with more than 120 golfers. Club champions were Eric Rohlman with the Low Gross score in the White Flight, Michael Davis won the Low Net score in the White Flight, Pat Sherlock won the Red Flight Low Gross, and Fred Schwartz won the Red Flight Low Net score. The event was a success due to the hard work by Bill Lansing, Bill Hill, Kerry Walsh, and Joe Duch, as well as a lot of great sportsmanship.

The Niners elected their new board officers: President Louis Beaulieu, Vice President Trevor Ballinger, Director of Golf Operations Bill Lansing, Treasurer Bruce Hulbert, Secretary Bjarne Kaer, Publicity Chair Mark Eichkorn, and Webmaster Kerry Walsh. The Niners continue to grow in membership and hosted another new member coffee at Eagle’s Nest. Last and not least, the Niners had another hole-in-one (four this past year)! Dave Cowan had a hole-in-one on the Eagle’s Nest 8th hole on March 17.

The “Guys and Dolls” mixer between the PebbleCreek Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association (PCM9GA) and the PebbleCreek Ladies Nine-Hole Golf Association (PCL9GA) was held April 14. The winter season ended April 28, and the start of the summer season is May 5. We look forward to meeting you on the tee!
