Meet The Marlins! These four brothers—Gary, Jace, Rick, and Robert—have been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years at conventions, fairs, festivals, senior retirement communities, and corporate events all over the U.S. and Canada. They have recently enjoyed success at Resorts International Hotel in Atlantic City and the Nugget in Reno. An honor that will remain with them for years was singing the National Anthem for the Florida Marlins inaugural season. They have shared the stage with such luminaries as Lee Greenwood, the Smothers Brothers, Merv Griffin, The Association, and Randy Travis. The Marlins offer a true variety show. They specialize in playing something for everyone’s musical taste. A Marlins concert may offer anything from big band tunes to classical melodies, high energy rock, to foot-tappin’ ragtime, down-home bluegrass to smooth pop songs. The names of Glen Miller, Willie Nelson, The Beach Boys, Liberace, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Tiny Tim, Santana, and the Broadway hits of Andrew Lloyd Webber are always heard at a Marlins performance. Each Marlin brother is a well-trained musician, and not only on one instrument. They play piano, drums, trumpet, guitar, bass, mandolin, synthesizer, and flute—every instrument needed to perform the diverse styles of music they know and love so well. Strong solo voices meld into tight harmonies as the style of music changes. The fact that they are brothers is just one more reason The Marlins are unique in the entertainment world! National Performing Artists Series—March 19, Mac Frampton, World-Renowned Concert Pianist

It is hard to put into words how Mac Frampton steps on stage and takes the audience by storm. You almost don’t know what hit you. He’s an incredible performer that leaves you speechless. Some performers just have that “it” factor, and he’s one of them. At a young age, Mac’s dream was to play the piano like Roger Williams, and also with an orchestra. Using his creativity with two large hands and ten long fingers, he learned to create his own orchestra; pretty bold for a young man with a big dream. Since he possessed the passion to be liked and admired, he entered a Key Club competition that took this small Southern boy all the way to Long Beach, Calif. At this event, he received the top international award from the iconic Pat Boone. This experience started his career that has taken him all over the world. Having played more than 4,000 concerts in his career, having the distinguished honor of being a soloist for orchestras and symphonies like The Boston Pops, Mantovani, St. Louis, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, and Atlanta. To round out that achievement, he’s also had the privilege of sharing the stage with such greats as Glen Campbell, Roberta Flack, and many more! Visit www.macframpton.com for more information.

The Diamonds—March 27

Through the years since the release of “Little Darlin’” (1957), The Diamonds have learned one important lesson—the durability of this classic rock and roll music is as much about the future as it is about the past. These performances include with symphony orchestras; in performing arts theatres and major concert halls; on cruise ships; in casinos; at county and state fairs; on tours of England, Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Korea, and Japan; for benefit concerts; corporate conventions; and at nightclubs. “We’ve been pleased to find a growing audience among all age groups. They love songs they can understand, remember, and actually sing the words to—today, tomorrow, or even 20 years from now.” The standing ovations and return engagements are the proof; The Diamonds have taken the classic rock and roll genre to a whole new level. The Diamonds truly are a cut above! $30 per person (limit 4). Tickets went on sale online and in the Activities Office on Jan. 18.
