Painting and hiding rocks for someone to find is a popular hobby for people of all ages. Brock Podapah, 11 years old, recently visited his grandparents, Judy Parker and Mark Jacobs and created a FB page called PebbleCreek Rocks, AZ.
For 15 days he painted and hid rocks throughout our community for someone to find. He said it makes people happy when they find a painted rock. You can re-hide or keep your special rock. On the back of each rock there is a message telling where the rock came from.
Aside from making someone’s day, another amazing part of the project is seeing where the colorful rocks land after they are dropped off by their maker. On the back of the rock gives you the name of the FB page, you then take a pic of your rock and post.
Brock made many lady friends in the last two weeks and hopes those who look may find a rock hidden to make them smile. He hopes we keep this going and introduce this fun game to other grandkids who may visit PebbleCreek.
